Dear you,

I know you've become someone you never thought you would be.  Sometimes looking in the mirror is hard because you see the person you really are- through all the guilt.  The tears stream down your face.

The guilt weighs heavy on your heart and you feel the heat of your sins creep up.  You count them all.  Some seem to span the entire ocean wide.

If I could meet you, I'd hug you.

I know your pain.  I know the pain of feeling like an imposter, of feeling fake and cracked.

If only they knew...

And yet, there is one who does know.  In fullness.  And in grace.

God doesn't condemn when he sees you.  He calls you his child instead and it feels backwards and wonderful all at once.

He welcomes you in with open arms. Wide, perfect arms.

I know it is so hard to let him in.  You want to hold him away because its so hard to accept and believe in unconditional love.  I know this feeling too.

I've been there.

Whatever seems like a mountain in your life- whatever guilt lies within- let if rest.  Let God love you.

In Jesus, you are forgiven if you'd let him.
